Connect Viber
Answer messages to your Viber bot as tickets.
Available on Starter, Growth, Pro, Enterprise. Compare plans
This feature is still being built. Some steps or screens may change.
Customers write to your Viber bot and each conversation becomes a ticket. Agents reply from the ticket and the customer gets the answer in Viber.
The connect screen for Viber is being built. The steps below describe how the channel works today.
Get a bot token
Create a bot account in the Viber Admin Panel and copy its authentication token. See Viber’s bot documentation.
Connect it to ChaosDesk
Paste the token when you connect the channel under Admin Center, Channels, Messaging. ChaosDesk checks it with Viber, creates the channel and sets the bot’s webhook to ChaosDesk. Viber confirms the webhook straight away, so the channel is ready in a few seconds.
Good to know
- Customers start the conversation by opening your bot in Viber.
- If ChaosDesk cannot set the webhook, the channel is not created and you see the reason. Check the token and try again.
