Releases

3 releases
  1. New Security

    Workspaces, built-in sign-in and plans

    • Your own workspace. Every company gets its own workspace on its own address, with its own brands, help centres, search, files and realtime channels, fully separated from everyone else’s.
    • Built-in sign-in. Staff sign in with email and password (stored with Argon2id), with email verification, password reset, invitations and lockout after repeated failures. No external identity server needed.
    • Plans and limits. Free, Starter, Growth, Pro and Enterprise, with locked features showing which plan unlocks them. Light agents are free and never take a seat.
    • Per-workspace encryption keys. Integration secrets are encrypted with a key that belongs to your workspace alone.
    • Free plan branding. Workspaces on the Free plan show a small “Powered by ChaosDesk” in emails and the help centre.
  2. New Improved

Email that arrives, and a faster start

    • A support address from minute one. Every workspace gets its own support address that receives and sends.
    • Sender reputation. Separate streams for ticket mail and system mail, a suppression list per workspace and daily sending limits, so one noisy sender cannot hurt everyone’s delivery.
    • Show original. Agents can open the raw source of any incoming email.
    • Requester emails in 26 languages. Request received, replies, satisfaction surveys and magic links in the customer’s language.
    • Onboarding. A setup wizard, optional sample data, a getting-started checklist and short tours of the agent workspace.
  3. New API

    Importers and help-centre privacy

    • More importers on the way. The importer now has a common framework for other helpdesks; a Freshdesk source is in testing.
    • Help-centre cookie consent. Each brand can show a consent banner in its help centre and load analytics only after visitors agree.
    • Virus scanning. Every stored attachment is scanned, from agents, email, messaging, the help centre and imports.
    • Zendesk-compatible API. Tickets, users, organizations, search, uploads and incremental exports at /zd/api/v2, tested against the requests of the common Zendesk SDKs.
