Apps, API and webhooks
Connect ChaosDesk to your other systems: the REST API, webhooks, sidebar apps and customer data.
ChaosDesk connects to the rest of your tools in several ways. All of them are under Admin Center, Integrations.
| Tool | What it does | Plans |
|---|---|---|
| API tokens | Scripts and integrations read and change tickets, users and settings through the REST API. | Starter and up |
| Webhooks | ChaosDesk calls your system when tickets change, or when a trigger says so. | Starter and up |
| Apps | Small apps in the ticket sidebar, such as Jira or linked tickets. | All plans |
| Customer data | Shows what your own systems know about the customer on every ticket. | All plans |
| Integrations | Built-in connections to Jira, Linear, GitHub, GitLab, Shopify, WooCommerce, Stripe, Paddle, HubSpot, Salesforce, Google Workspace and Microsoft 365. | Starter and up (HubSpot and Salesforce: Growth and up) |
| OAuth clients | Let users of any workspace approve your integration, without copying tokens. | Starter and up |
See Connect Jira, Shopify, Stripe, HubSpot and other tools, Build an integration with OAuth and Use Zapier and Make.
Coming from Zendesk?
ChaosDesk also offers a Zendesk-compatible API, so most scripts written for Zendesk keep working after you change the base URL and the token. See the Zendesk-compatible API.
For developers
The developer portal has the full API reference, authentication, rate limits, webhook payloads and code examples.
