Moving to ChaosDesk
Import from Zendesk, Freshdesk, Help Scout or a spreadsheet, run both systems in parallel, then go live.
ChaosDesk imports your old help desk with its history, keeps it in sync while your team checks everything, and lets you switch when you are ready.

The steps
The page shows a checklist you tick off as you go:
- Connect the account.
- Run a dry run and read its report.
- Run the full import.
- Fix what failed, and rebuild what the report lists.
- Check that the counts match the source.
- Parallel run: keep syncing changes while your team works in the old system.
- Forward your support addresses to ChaosDesk.
- Go live.
- Switch off automations and channels in the old system.
Re-running an import updates records and never duplicates them.
Your integrations
Scripts written for the Zendesk API keep working with the Zendesk-compatible API after a base URL change. Integrations hard-wired to *.zendesk.com need a replacement. See switching from Zendesk.
Zendesk, Freshdesk, Help Scout and the other help desks named here are trademarks of their owners. ChaosDesk is not affiliated with them.
