Use one sign-in for several workspaces

See every workspace where your email address is a team member, and switch between them without signing in again.

If you work in more than one ChaosDesk workspace, for example for two companies or a test workspace, you can sign in once and pick the workspace you need.

Each workspace still keeps its own account for you: your password, role, security rules and sessions are separate in every workspace.

See all your workspaces

  1. Go to the ChaosDesk sign-in page that asks for your workspace name (Find your workspace).
  2. Under Or sign in to see all your workspaces, enter your email address and password.
  3. Choose Sign in. Your workspaces lists every workspace where this address and password are accepted.
  4. Choose Open next to the workspace you want.

Some workspaces show Sign in there instead of Open. They want an extra step first, such as two-step verification, single sign-on only, an IP address check or a confirmed email address. Choosing it opens that workspace’s own sign-in page with your email filled in.

A workspace where your password is different is not listed. Sign in to it with its own address.

Switch workspace

In the agent workspace, open your user menu and choose Switch workspace. The list opens, and a workspace where you are already signed in opens straight away.

Signing out

  • Signing out of the list signs you out of the list only. Your open workspaces stay signed in.
  • Resetting your password, being suspended or choosing “sign out all other devices” in any of your workspaces also ends the list sign-in.
